Biography Jan Rajtoral
I was born on September 25th, 1969 in The Hague - The Netherlands. Being a child of Czech parents, I speak both Dutch and Czech flawlessly.
Since my childhood I loved to draw all the time, even back in school. Later, when I was a teenager, my family moved to Terneuzen, nearby the Belgium border. Here I learned to appreciate the beauty of Design, Art & Architecture at school. Instantly, it turned into a real passion.
Having started the study Industrial Design at the Technical Universtity of Delft in 1989, I switched to the Haagsche Hogeschool after 2 years. After my study I’ve worked for a number of well-known Dutch Design Companies like: Flex Development, DSI Design and Well Design. At my last function as senior designer at Ideko I also specialised myself in Exhibition Stand Design.
Since my teenager years, the passion for Graphic Design stayed. In my free time I was making my own Cards, Tee's, etc. in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. In the year 1999 I discovered Web Design and made my first website and from that moment learned about W3C, CSS, (X)HTML, SEO, etc., ... and never stopped learning.
After the bankruptcy of my last employer, in 2006, I started my own designstudio: gonzodesign, creative solutions was officially 'born'. My main passion and occupation is designing Logo's, Brochures, Stationaries, Business Cards, Enveloppes and Web Sites for my Clients at gonzodesign.
